Role & Company / Project Overview: CSCEC Egypt (China State Construction Engineering Corporation) is expanding its project team for the Long March Tyre Egypt Co. Ltd. – Phase I TBR Plant Civil Construction Project and is seeking a qualified Document Controller to manage construction documentation and records. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Document receiving, dispatching, and account management. • Preparation, collection, registration, and systematic sorting of construction documents. • Drawing receiving, dispatching, custody, and registration. • Construction document control and engineering drawing management. • Maintenance and filing of inspection records, concealed works records, and material submittals. • Compilation, registration, and archiving of As-Built drawings and documentation. • Execution of construction filing, registration, custody, and archiving procedures in accordance with standards. • Liaison with site supervisors, clients, and archive authorities. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Education: College degree or above, majoring in Construction Engineering or related engineering disciplines. • Certifications: Document Controller certificate required. • Experience: 4 to 7 years of working experience as a construction document controller. • Comprehensive familiarity with the entire workflow of construction documentation. • Solid understanding of the filing and archiving requirements of local archives in Egypt. • Demonstrated ability to independently handle inspection lots, concealed works records, material submittals, and as-built drawing archiving tasks. • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and construction document management software. • Professional Competencies: Meticulous and rigorous approach to work, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Project Location: Plot C1-1, North West Gulf of Suez Economic Zone, TEDA, Ain Sokhna, Suez Governorate, Egypt. • Work setup: Onsite industrial civil construction project.
