Role & Company / Project Overview: Marc Ellis is hiring a Senior FircoSoft Engineer for an onsite role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is a 6 months extendable contract, long-term on Marc Ellis Payroll. The role focuses on payments/name screening systems, production support, troubleshooting, and end-to-end SDLC, working closely with technical, compliance, business, and vendor teams to deliver reliable screening solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Deliver robust screening solutions across payments and name screening architectures • Provide production support, system troubleshooting, issue identification, and escalation • Collaborate closely with cross-functional technical, compliance, business, and external vendor teams • Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for FircoSoft deployments • Manage job scheduling, Unix shell scripting, and messaging workflows Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8–18 years of SDLC, software development, and production support experience • 3–8 years of hands-on FircoSoft experience, including Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, FSK, and Firco Utilities • Strong Unix Shell Scripting, IBM MQ/WebSphere, and job scheduling experience • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, issue identification, and escalation skills • Nice to have: Firco Case Manager API experience • Nice to have: DevOps and CI/CD experience • Nice to have: Java/J2EE, Spring, Angular, and AWS experience • Nice to have: Agile methodology experience • Nice to have: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Onsite - Abu Dhabi, UAE • Notice Period: 30 Days • Duration: 6 months (Extendable Contract, long-term on Marc Ellis Payroll) Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive contract compensation on Marc Ellis Payroll (details provided during interview process) Application Instructions: • Interested candidates please send your updated CV to the Marc Ellis recruitment team via email.
