Role & Company / Project Overview: Exciting opportunity to work on an advanced Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Comms & GCS Engineer specializing in autonomous marine technology to connect, control, and command RF communications, telemetry systems, and Ground Control Stations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage and maintain Ground Control Station (GCS) systems and marine communications for Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs). • Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy RF communication networks, telemetry systems, Long Range RF, and SATCOM links. • Oversee integration of wireless equipment and protocols (e.g., Silvus, Microhard, Ubiquiti, 4G/5G, and QGroundControl). • Support ongoing autonomous robotics and marine operational trials. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience. • Proven expertise in RF communications, telemetry systems, and Ground Control Stations (GCS). • Experience with USVs, UAVs, robotics, long-range RF, satellite communication (SATCOM), cellular networks (4G/5G), and ground station software like QGroundControl. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE. Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
