### Role & Company / Project Overview Fawry is hiring Mid and Senior Network Security Operations Engineers to join its growing Technology Team. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a deep understanding of Web Application Firewalls (F5 WAF), Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), DDoS protection and mitigation, and Network Access Control (NAC) systems. You will play a key role in securing the organization’s network perimeter, ensuring only authorized devices and users can access critical systems, while actively defending against threats like DDoS attacks, intrusions, and web-based vulnerabilities. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Regularly/daily perform security checks and troubleshooting on network security solutions (Firewall, WAF, Routers, Switches, NAC, NDR, FIM, PAM, etc.). - Work on notifications received from vulnerability alerting and monitoring systems. - Execute patch management program across network components aligned with the security team. - Manage user management processes (i.e., creation, changes, disable, delete) accounts on network aligned with security policy. - Regularly update network assets inventory aligned with security team. - Act as responsible liaison for communication and alignment between Information Security team and external auditors. - Suggest and implement solutions for continuous improvement. - Track existing processes and network security hardening. - Stay up to date with latest network security technology and trends. - Execute new security project implementation aligning with Network and Security Operation Department. - Conduct Incident Response and Threat Hunting. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience Required: 2–6 years of hands-on experience (Mid to Senior level). - Deep technical understanding and hands-on experience implementing and managing critical security technologies: Web Application Firewalls (F5 WAF), Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), DDoS protection and mitigation, and Network Access Control (NAC) systems. - Solid experience securing network perimeters and defending against sophisticated cyber threats. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Smart Village, 6th of October, Giza Governorate, Egypt - Work Model: Hybrid ### Compensation & Benefits - Competitive corporate package and opportunities for continuous professional growth. ### Application Instructions - Share your CV via email mentioning the job title in the subject line.
