Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: CLEMAP AG is hiring a Junior Operations Specialist (20%-40%) based on-site in Zürich Altstetten. As a Junior Operations Specialist, you contribute to both operational sides of the business: supporting End-of-Line testing (EOL) and shipping of hardware products, as well as ensuring that the back office runs smoothly. You accompany products through every step from manufacturing to customer installation. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, like working with hardware and documentation, and want to see how an SME works behind the scenes. Electronics knowledge is not required as calibration and testing procedures are taught internally. Students are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Production & Fulfillment: - Calibrate and test hardware devices according to internal procedures and document the results. - Prepare accompanying business documents including order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices. - Generate software coupons and activate company licenses. - Carefully package orders and organize shipping via post or courier services. • Backoffice: - Reconcile incoming payments with accounting records. - Monitor open invoices and follow up with customers on overdue payments. - Support the team with additional operational tasks as needed. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship (KV/EFZ) or an ongoing/completed degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline. • Experience in production, logistics, or administration is a plus; students are welcome. • No prior electronics knowledge required (calibration and testing procedures will be trained). • Diligent, structured, and precise working approach (both calibration and bookkeeping require accuracy). • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 and open to learning new tools and systems. • Language proficiency in both German and English. • Valid Swiss residence and valid Swiss work permit. • Passion for environmental sustainability and contributing to the Energy Strategy 2050. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Employment workload: 20% - 40% part-time. • Work location: On-site in Zürich Altstetten, Switzerland. Compensation & Benefits: • Annual base salary of CHF 65,000 gross per year at 100% workload (paid pro rata based on the agreed employment percentage). • Opportunity to be part of a company vision driving the energy transition. • Young, motivated team with flat hierarchies and direct communication. • Real ownership and responsibility from day one across production, quality, logistics, and finance. • Professional growth and development opportunities in an innovative SME. Application Instructions: • Apply online via the provided application portal. Inquiries regarding the position can be addressed to the designated contact person.
