Job description

Pickles Recruitment is seeking experienced Food Manufacturing Team Leaders for permanent supervisory positions with a busy food manufacturing company located in Wythenshawe, Manchester. This hands-on supervisory position involves leading and managing operational line staff, allocating daily production tasks, and ensuring targets are met safely and efficiently. Key duties include monitoring ongoing product quality, minimizing machinery and line downtime, and strictly enforcing high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Candidates must have prior supervisory or team leadership experience within a food production environment, with demonstrated confidence in managing personnel, resolving operational friction, and keeping production moving in a fast-paced setting. Shift options include Late shift (Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at £15.11 per hour) and Night shift (Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM at £15.78 per hour).
