Role & Company / Project Overview: SBFC Finance Limited is hiring an Internal Auditor – Gold Loan to join the Internal Audit / Risk & Compliance department within the NBFC or Banking industry. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct internal audits of gold loan branches and operations. • Verify gold valuation process and purity testing procedures. • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, KYC, AML, and company policies. • Audit loan files, customer documents, and disbursement processes. • Verify pledged gold stock, storage procedures, and security controls. • Identify operational gaps, fraud risks, and process deviations. • Review branch cash handling and inventory management practices. • Prepare audit reports with observations and corrective action plans. • Follow up on closure of previous audit findings and compliance reports. • Conduct surprise branch audits and field verification visits. • Train branch staff on audit compliance and gold appraisal standards when required. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Graduation is mandatory. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Gold Loan Audit / Operations / Internal Audit in NBFC or Banking sector. • Strong knowledge of gold loan operations and gold appraisal. • Understanding of RBI regulations and NBFC audit practices. • Knowledge of KYC, AML, and compliance procedures. • Analytical and risk assessment skills. • Attention to detail and report-writing ability. • Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation. • Ability to travel for branch audits. • Preferred: Experience in branch audit and operational risk management. • Preferred: Exposure to gold loan valuation and stock verification. • Preferred: Strong communication and coordination skills. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Warangal, Telangana. • Onsite branch audits with travel requirements. Compensation & Benefits: • CTC: Upto ₹5 LPA.
