Role & Company / Project Overview: Vilas Transcore Limited in Vadodara, Gujarat, specializing in transformer radiators, lamination sheets, and copper products, is seeking an experienced Purchase Engineer – Copper. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Handle procurement and vendor management for copper raw materials and engineering components. - Solicit quotations, conduct commercial negotiations, and release purchase orders. - Track material delivery schedules, monitor vendor performance, and maintain supply chain continuity. - Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure procured copper meets exact specifications. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - 5 years of dedicated procurement/purchasing experience in the copper industry. - In-depth knowledge of copper grades, pricing dynamics, and technical specifications. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India. - Onsite plant role.
