Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced API Test Lead / Quality Engineering Lead to lead the QE workstream for a large-scale Global Membership Platform modernization and API migration program, validating up to 257 APIs and repositories across multiple migration waves. The ideal candidate will be a senior API Test / QE Lead with strong customer-facing governance experience who can bridge technical testing risks with delivery, commercial, and quality impacts. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead the QE workstream across multiple migration waves for modernizing the platform. - Validate up to 257 APIs and repositories, ensuring thorough test coverage and stability. - Design and execute end-to-end API, microservices, and integration test strategies. - Oversee CI/CD integration and enforce production release governance. - Manage defects, defect governance, release readiness, and technical risk management. - Conduct stakeholder management and bridge technical testing risks with commercial delivery impacts. - Provide customer-facing QE leadership and comprehensive analytical reporting. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of Quality Engineering experience. - Strong API / Integration Testing expertise. - In-depth hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices. - Proficient in Azure and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service). - Strong knowledge of APIM and Apigee. - Proven background with CI/CD and Production Release Governance. - Expertise in security protocols including JWT, OAuth 2.0, Entra ID, and RBAC. - Comprehensive experience with Test Strategy, Test Estimation, and Test Governance. - Strong analytical, defect management, and reporting skills. - Self-starter with an ownership mindset. - Proven experience with large-scale cloud modernization and transformation programs. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: Remote position across the United States. • Compensation & Benefits: Contract assignment terms (e.g., C2C / W2). • Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should connect or email their profile to Kapil Tyagi at LanceSoft.
