Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: The company works directly with hospitals to help recruit patients for clinical trials. While initial outreach calls and texts to potential study candidates are automated, many patients prefer speaking directly with a human. The Remote Patient Support Associate will step in to take over those conversations, assist patients through the recruitment process, and handle follow-ups. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Take over patient conversations and conduct follow-ups with individuals qualifying for clinical trials. - Speak with patients directly over the phone and via text messaging. - Keep accurate and organized records and track patient communications and interactions. - Escalate and pass complex clinical or study-specific questions to the hospital's study team when needed. - Comfortably spend a significant portion of the day engaging and conversing with people. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Location: Must be based in the United States. - Clear, professional verbal and written communication abilities. - High level of patience and empathy when engaging with patients. - Comfortable spending a good part of the day talking to people over phone and messaging channels. - Relevant customer or patient engagement experience is beneficial. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Work Arrangement: Fully Remote. - Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time). - Commitment: Full-time. • Compensation & Benefits: - Compensation: $15 per hour or higher (or applicable local minimum wage). • Application Instructions: - Apply via email with a brief introduction, summary of relevant experience, current time zone, and earliest available start date.
