Role & Company / Project Overview: Exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Architect passionate about building scalable cloud data platforms, modern data ecosystems, and AI-ready enterprise solutions. The Data Architect will drive enterprise data strategy, architecture, modeling, integration, and governance, collaborating closely with engineering, analytics, and business leadership. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Drive enterprise data strategy, architecture, modeling, integration, and governance. • Drive enterprise-scale data architecture initiatives and roadmaps. • Build secure, scalable, and AI-ready enterprise data platforms. • Design Lakehouse solutions and modern enterprise data architecture. • Implement and oversee data modeling including Dimensional Modeling, 3NF, and Data Vault. • Architect and support robust ETL/ELT data pipelines and streaming workflows. • Champion data governance, master data management (MDM), data quality, and data lineage initiatives. • Manage metadata, data security, and stakeholder alignments across business and technical teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Overall Experience: 10+ years of overall IT/data experience, with 3+ years specifically in Data Architecture. • Cloud Data Platforms: Proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS, or Azure. • Data Architecture & Lakehouse: Enterprise Data Architecture & Lakehouse Solutions. • Data Modeling: Dimensional Modeling, 3NF, and Data Vault methodologies. • ETL/ELT Tools: Experience with dbt, Fivetran, Informatica, Apache Airflow. • Streaming Technologies: Apache Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub. • Governance & Security: Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, and Data Security. • Technical Proficiencies: Advanced SQL and enterprise architecture roadmaps. • Work Authorization: USC / Green Card preferred. • Preferred: Candidates with prior Cisco experience. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: 100% Remote – anywhere in the United States. • Engagement: Contract (C2C).
