Job description

Katalyst CRO is seeking a proactive Delivery Assurance Specialist in Torrance, CA to support supplier performance, on-time delivery, supplier development, and quality improvement within the aerospace and defense supply chain. Responsibilities under Delivery Assurance include monitoring supplier delivery commitments, portal compliance, data integrity, reviewing supplier recovery plans, collaborating with sub-tier suppliers and subcontractors to expedite critical orders, and tracking parts, WIP, production status, capacity constraints, and delivery risks. Under Supplier Development, you will conduct supplier assessments with Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams, develop Supplier Improvement Plans (SIPs), support implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies, and monitor KPIs, capacity, and cost-to-serve metrics. For Supplier Quality, responsibilities include developing Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), leading Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action activities, updating quality documentation such as PFMEA and Control Plans, and tracking quality metrics. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain, supplier development, delivery assurance, or supplier performance, ideally within aerospace or defense manufacturing. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required, along with strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP), capacity planning, Lean, and Six Sigma.
