### Role & Company / Project Overview J&M Group is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for a contract opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on a hybrid working model. This role is open strictly to candidates who are local to Canada. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack web applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend. - Collaborate actively in an Agile software development framework with cross-functional technical teams. - Implement and support cloud-native architectures using Amazon Web Services (AWS), S3, and CloudWatch. - Build, configure, and maintain robust CI/CD deployment pipelines. - Automate and orchestrate data and workflow pipelines utilizing Apache Airflow. - Design, query, and optimize relational databases using SQL. - Build service integrations and backend microservices using Node.js. - Automate and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) via Terraform. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Demonstrated software development expertise across frontend, backend, and cloud architectures. - Strong technical proficiency in Java and React. - Hands-on experience working within Agile methodology and sprint cycles. - Solid experience with AWS cloud services, specifically AWS S3 and AWS CloudWatch. - Proficient in CI/CD pipeline automation and modern DevOps practices. - Practical experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration. - Strong database knowledge and expertise in SQL. - Experience with Node.js backend development. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. - Eligibility requirement: Must be a local candidate residing in Canada. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Working Model: Hybrid - Position Type: Contract Opportunity ### Compensation & Benefits - Contract engagement rates as per industry standards and project terms. ### Application Instructions - Interested candidates local to Canada can apply directly via the portal or reach out by submitting their resume to the specified recruiter email.
