Job description

A Withholding Tax Specialist with over 5 years of experience is required for a hybrid role located in Trivandrum (TVM), Kerala. The role requires strong experience in Withholding Tax (WHT) determination and supply-type classification across multiple jurisdictions, with APAC region experience considered a strong advantage. Key technical competencies include understanding WHT-triggering transaction types such as services, royalties, interest, technical services, software, licenses, and cross-border vendor payments. Candidates must possess the ability to analyze complex, ambiguous tax scenarios and convert them into structured, testable decision logic. Hands-on experience with invoices, vendor procurement, ERP, or AP data for tax determination is essential, along with expertise in tax technology, tax automation, or AI-based tax products. Candidates should also be familiar with user stories, acceptance criteria, QA test plans, and release validation.
