Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Company is seeking an Application Security Analyst with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in JavaEE, secure coding, core/digital banking security, and VAPT frameworks to secure mission-critical banking platforms. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Implement application security controls across digital and core banking environments. - Lead VAPT policy reviews and remediate identified security observations. - Integrate and run SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, and container scanning tools across development pipelines. - Ensure adherence to banking security regulations and data protection standards. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Experience: 5 to 10 Years. - Certifications: CEH, Security+, or equivalent preferred. - Application Security & Vulnerabilities: Strong command over OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS, API Security Top 10, SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, and container scanning tools (e.g., Fortify, SonarQube). - Java & Architecture: Expertise in JavaEE architecture, Spring, REST APIs, Microservices, and modern frameworks (Kafka, Container Orchestration). - Security Control & Protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSO, token & certificate-based authentication, secrets management, cryptography, TLS, HSM/KMS, and cloud controls (AWS/Azure). - Banking Domain & VAPT: Deep understanding of Core Banking & Digital Banking security regulations, data protection standards, and leading VAPT policy reviews/observation remediation. - Target Backgrounds: Experience in banking product platforms (Finacle, Finastra, Temenos, FIS, Intellect Design), Bank GCCs (HSBC, Barclays), or IT services providers. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Thane, Maharashtra, India. • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified. • Application Instructions - Send updated resume directly or apply via the application link provided.
