Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: • RAD is looking for a customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join their Global Technical Support team in Tel Aviv. The role involves solving technical problems, working with customers worldwide, and working with cutting-edge networking technologies. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and web. • Troubleshoot network issues, equipment faults, and product-related problems. • Analyze network environments and identify the root cause of issues. • Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Tier-3 Support teams. • Help customers with product installation, configuration, training, and technical consulting. • Provide on-site support and troubleshooting when needed. • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through fast and effective solutions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: - Carrier Ethernet - IP/Ethernet Networking - VLANs, Routing & Switching - Quality of Service (QoS) - Industrial IoT (IIoT) - TDM Technologies - SNMP & Network Monitoring - IT Network Administration • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to handle multiple technical issues in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to travel to customer sites when required. • Preferred / Nice to Have: A degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; CCNA certification or equivalent; experience in telecom, service provider, or enterprise networking environments. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. • Includes travel to customer sites when required.
