Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview A prominent Telecommunications industry firm is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer for a 6-month engagement. The role is based in Jakarta Selatan with a hybrid working model and requires an immediate joiner. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Implement and maintain security automation across the full software development lifecycle • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines incorporating comprehensive security gates • Implement SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and security controls across environments • Maintain and automate infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration platforms • Manage vulnerability assessments, OWASP Top 10 remediation, and secure coding practices • Utilize security tooling to identify, troubleshoot, and address system and code vulnerabilities • Collaborate across engineering teams to drive security automation and reliability Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps • Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud security and IAM best practices • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines including GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions • Proven experience implementing SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and security gates • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, vulnerability management, and secure coding standards • Experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, Burp Suite, or equivalent tooling • Strong troubleshooting, automation, problem-solving, and collaboration capabilities • Professional certification in AWS or GCP is a plus • Experience in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is a plus Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Jakarta Selatan (Hybrid model) • Engagement Duration: 6 Months • Availability: Immediate joiner only Application Instructions Interested applicants should complete the application questionnaire or send an updated CV via email with the subject line formatted as [Role Title]_[Your Name].
