Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Fabtech Consultants is hiring a Mechanical Specialist on behalf of an established manufacturing client located near Sofia, Bulgaria. This is a long-term, permanent overseas technical role responsible for maintaining plant machinery and hydraulic systems. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Operate, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical plant machinery and industrial equipment. - Perform planned preventive maintenance schedules and emergency equipment repairs. - Replace worn or faulty machine components. - Inspect mechanical and hydraulic systems to ensure high operating efficiency. - Read, interpret, and work from mechanical engineering drawings and technical schematics to guarantee smooth machine operation. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant technical qualification. - Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on mechanical maintenance experience. - Strong expertise in industrial mechanical maintenance and systematic troubleshooting. - Prior experience working on cigarette packaging or filter-making machinery is an advantage. - Age limit: Up to 50 years. - Strong communication skills in English and/or Russian. - Willingness and adaptability to work rotating shifts. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Near Sofia, Bulgaria. - Shift Timings: Rotating shifts, 5-day working week. - Overtime opportunities available. • Compensation & Benefits - Net Salary: USD 1,050 net per month. - Food Allowance: USD 102. - Company-provided accommodation and local transportation. - Company-paid return air ticket. - Visa costs shared equally (50% company / 50% candidate). • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated CV for evaluation and overseas recruitment processing.
