Role & Company / Project Overview: Irthi Museum in Sharjah is seeking a talented Data & AI Specialist to join its team. This role supports the museum's digital transformation journey by unlocking the value of data and emerging artificial intelligence technologies within a leading cultural institution dedicated to preserving and promoting heritage through innovation. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and support data analytics, artificial intelligence, and knowledge management initiatives across the museum. • Transform complex datasets into actionable insights to inform organizational decision-making. • Develop, test, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled solutions, Machine Learning models, Generative AI, and LLM applications. • Contribute to enhancing overall organizational performance, research capabilities, and visitor experiences through modern data solutions. • Implement and adhere to principles of Responsible AI, data governance, information security, and user privacy. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across cultural, research, and technical functions. • Leverage knowledge management systems and semantic search technologies to optimize information discovery and heritage curation. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering. • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL. • Solid experience in data integration, data analysis, and dashboarding platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools. • Hands-on, practical experience with Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), as well as developing, testing, and evaluating AI models. • Thorough understanding of Responsible AI frameworks, Data Governance, Information Security, and Privacy principles. • Strong multilingual communication skills in both Arabic and English. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. • Experience with knowledge management systems and semantic search is considered an advantage. • Prior experience working within cultural, research, or educational institutions is considered an advantage. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Sharjah, Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. • Work Mode: Onsite at Irthi Museum.
