Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Dry Food Purchasing Officer for supermarket retail chain operations in Saudi Arabia, inviting South African candidates. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Procure ambient and dry grocery items including grains, packaged goods, canned foods, and condiments • Identify reliable suppliers, evaluate proposals, and negotiate bulk pricing and terms • Coordinate shipment logistics, warehouse receiving, and monitor shelf-life parameters • Optimize dry grocery stock replenishment schedules based on seasonal demand trends Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as a purchasing officer or buyer for dry goods or FMCG retail • Sound knowledge of supplier negotiation, demand forecasting, and inventory systems • Commercial acumen with strong communication and problem-solving abilities • Targeted toward South African candidates Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Saudi Arabia (Onsite) • Full-time retail procurement schedule Compensation & Benefits: • Standard salary package provided according to experience and qualifications Application Instructions: • Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV directly.
