Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data & Integration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, developing API integrations, writing complex SQL queries, and performing root cause analysis (RCA) in enterprise production environments. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Integration & Data Pipeline Engineering: - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end integration solutions using Informatica CDI (batch/ETL) and CAI (real-time/API integrations). - Integrate cloud and on-premises data sources with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS). - Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Batch scripting. - SQL & Data Management: - Write complex SQL queries and perform query optimization and performance tuning. - Analyze database schemas, data structures, and data anomalies. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across integration pipelines. - Production Support & Troubleshooting: - Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica CDI/CAI workflows. - Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) for job failures and data discrepancies. - Trace data lineage and resolve production issues efficiently. - Collaborate with business and technical teams to communicate findings and solutions. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, specifically CDI and CAI. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services: Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics. - Advanced SQL development and performance tuning. - Strong production support and troubleshooting experience. - Expertise in Python or Windows scripting (PowerShell/Batch). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Santa Ana, California (Candidates MUST be located in California). - Position Type / Duration: Long-Term Contract. - Interview Slots Available: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM PST. • Application Instructions Interested candidates are requested to share their updated resume.
