• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Principal Engineer – Enterprise AI Platforms and Developer Enablement. This is a contractual engagement (C2C / GC on W2) focused on architecting cutting-edge enterprise AI platforms, autonomous software engineering agents, and developer tooling. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Enterprise AI Platform Architecture: Design scalable, resilient patterns for AI coding assistants, autonomous software engineering agents, and developer productivity tools across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. - Next-Gen Protocols: Define enterprise patterns for Model Context Protocol (MCP), MCP Gateways, API service layers, and platform interoperability. - AI-Enabled SDLC Modernization: Integrate AI agents and LLM tooling across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle—from requirements to CI/CD, DevSecOps, quality engineering, and observability. - Governance and Supply Chain Security: Partner with cybersecurity, compliance, and platform teams to embed least privilege, secrets management, and robust supply chain security controls. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 15+ years of progressive experience across Software, Platform, or Cloud Engineering and Architecture. - 5+ years leading enterprise-scale architecture programs or technology transformation initiatives. - Proven hands-on track record in API integration, DevSecOps pipelines, identity/access management, and secure cloud delivery. - Preferred: Hands-on exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agentic AI orchestration, and enterprise developer toolchains (GitHub Enterprise/Actions, Sonar, Checkmarx, Harness, Splunk). - Experience in regulated environments (Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecom, etc.) is a major plus. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Bay Area, California (Local candidates strongly preferred). - Engagement Type: Contract (C2C / GC on W2). • Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive C2C contractor compensation. • Application Instructions: Interested candidates or referrals should send an updated resume or reach out directly to the hiring coordinator.
