Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a strategic Technology Risk AI initiative with a leading Saudi bank. If you have built production-grade GenAI solutions in banking and want to shape how AI supports risk and controls, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and engineer secure, production-grade AI and GenAI solutions tailored for enterprise banking environments. • Build, integrate, and deploy LLM applications, enterprise AI architectures, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. • Implement and maintain vector databases, embeddings, semantic search mechanisms, and document intelligence pipelines. • Deploy core LLMs across private and on-premise AI stacks, including Ollama and open-source GPT models. • Implement rigorous LLM evaluation, grounding, traceability, hallucination control, and explainability frameworks to support banking risk and controls. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Mandatory Experience: - 7+ years of overall IT experience, primarily working on Banking projects. - 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML engineering experience. - Proven track record of working across at least 3 AI/ML projects. • Key Skills: - Proficiency in Python, LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and enterprise AI engineering. - Hands-on expertise with core LLMs and private/on-premise AI stacks (e.g., Ollama / GPT OSS). - Solid understanding of vector DBs, embeddings, semantic search, and document intelligence. - Experience with LLM evaluation, grounding, traceability, hallucination control, and model explainability. - Strong banking domain knowledge and prior project delivery within banking environments. • Preferred: - Prior exposure to SAMA, GRC, Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, and IT Controls.
