Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer for a leading organization in the Steel Manufacturing / Steel Plant industry. The role entails managing production schedules, material planning, and coordination to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. - Coordinate with production, stores, purchase, and dispatch teams. - Monitor material availability and production schedules. - Track production targets, output, and delivery timelines. - Identify production delays and support corrective actions. - Maintain production reports, planning sheets, and MIS documentation. - Optimize resource utilization to improve productivity. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. - Experience: 2–5 Years preferred; experience in steel manufacturing or industrial production will be preferred. - Production Planning & Scheduling expertise. - Material Planning & Inventory Coordination. - Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS Reporting. - Strong production monitoring and process coordination abilities. - Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
