Role & Company / Project Overview: Seeking a highly hands-on Python + GenAI Engineer operating at a Staff/Principal Individual Contributor (IC) level to architect and build production agentic AI solutions from scratch. This role is focused on building production-ready AI systems from the ground up, not prompt engineering or research. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Architect and build production agentic AI solutions from scratch • Independently design, build, deploy, and own end-to-end production AI systems • Implement AI agents, tool calling, model context protocol (MCP), memory systems, guardrails, and orchestration Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience • 5+ years of hands-on Python experience • Proven experience building production GenAI and Agentic AI systems • In-depth expertise with AI Agents, MCP, tool calling, memory, guardrails, and orchestration • Strong architecture and system design skills • Experience with Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot • Demonstrated ability to take an idea from a blank page to a production-ready AI system • Must currently reside in Quebec (French language proficiency is NOT required) Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Remote within Quebec, Canada (must currently reside in Quebec) Compensation & Benefits: • Base Salary: Up to $185,000 base • Bonus: 15% bonus • Vacation: 20 vacation days Application Instructions: • Interested candidates can apply via DM or submit their resume directly.
