Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring for the position of Senior Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant. The role involves working as an Offshore / Remote consultant with onsite travel to Qatar required on a project-need basis. Duration is 3 Months + Extendable. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide functional consulting and configuration across core Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules. • Execute hands-on configuration across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. • Manage and support multi-entity, multi-ledger, multi-currency, intercompany, period-close, and reconciliation processes. • Oversee end-to-end accounting flows and Subledger Accounting (SLA). • Conduct data migration, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization. • Independently conduct workshops, prepare solution documentation, and engage directly with Finance Controllers, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of total Oracle Financials experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials experience. • Proven track record of delivering at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Financials implementations. • In-depth hands-on configuration expertise across GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets. • Strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-ledger, multi-currency, intercompany, period-close, and reconciliation processes. • Solid working knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) and end-to-end accounting flows. • Practical exposure to data migration, SIT, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization. • Proven ability to lead workshops, author functional design documentation, and interface with senior finance leadership and SMEs. • Excellent English communication skills. • Willingness to travel onsite to Qatar during key project phases. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Offshore deployment (Remote Work). • Onsite travel to Qatar required on a project-need basis. • Engagement duration: 3 Months + Extendable.
