Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Wings Technical Services W.L.L. is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a leading Oil & Gas service company in Qatar. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage, automate, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. • Maintain, scale, and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker. • Provision and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible across cloud environments. • Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks with Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic. • Maintain GitOps workflows utilizing tools like Argo CD or Flux. • Manage Linux-based infrastructure, system administration, and network configurations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering. • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible. • Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, Linux administration, and networking. • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic. • Knowledge of Azure/AWS and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux. • AI/ML infrastructure experience is an added advantage. • Oil & Gas or Energy sector experience is preferred.
