• Role & Company / Project Overview: EdgeLink Technology is hiring a Web Developer Intern for a 6-month on-site internship in Wakad, Pune. This opportunity offers hands-on experience working on real, live client projects to kickstart your web development career. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Build, update, and maintain dynamic and responsive websites using WordPress - Write clean, mobile-responsive code utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and page layouts according to project requirements - Work across various website types including business websites, portfolios, landing pages, and e-commerce stores - Leverage AI tools to accelerate development workflows, content generation, and technical problem-solving - Test website performance, loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility - Collaborate actively with designers and senior web developers on live client projects • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Working knowledge of WordPress is mandatory (themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor) - Strong understanding of HTML and CSS - Basic knowledge of JavaScript is an added advantage - Familiarity with diverse website formats (static, dynamic, e-commerce, etc.) - Strong problem-solving mindset, team collaboration skills, ability to meet deadlines, and eagerness to learn - Bonus/Additional Skill: Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or AI website builders, and how to utilize them effectively in web development - Good to have: Basic knowledge of PHP, Bootstrap, or WooCommerce; understanding of basic SEO principles and web hosting; portfolio or sample projects (college projects are acceptable) • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Engagement Duration: 6 Months - Work Mode: On-site - Location: Wakad, Pune, Maharashtra, India • Compensation & Benefits: - Practical, hands-on experience working on live client projects - Mentorship and guidance from experienced developers - Internship certificate upon completion - Opportunity for a full-time role based on performance • Application Instructions: - Submit your resume along with portfolio or project links via email or WhatsApp, mentioning 'Web Developer Intern' in the subject line.
