Role & Company / Project Overview: The Rewards Company is looking for a Lead Backend Developer (Node.js) to join their team in Pune. This role is ideal for candidates who have 5 to 7 years of experience working with Node.js and enjoy building scalable, distributed backend systems while taking complete ownership of their work. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Architect, build, and maintain microservices-based applications and backend APIs (REST API and SOAP API). • Work on backend APIs, microservices, cloud deployments, and scalable system solutions. • Implement distributed system design and performance optimizations using caching solutions like Redis. • Manage containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows using Docker and Git. • Perform comprehensive unit testing to ensure high code quality and system reliability. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript. • Proficiency in Express.js. • Strong database knowledge working with MongoDB and SQL. • Solid expertise with Redis and Redis Caching. • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployments. • Deep expertise in Microservices architecture. • Practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git. • Proven ability in Unit Testing. • Good understanding of scalable and distributed system design. • Immediate joiners preferred. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. • Working mode: Onsite / Office based in Pune.
