Role & Company / Project Overview: SYGATE GLOBAL (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for enthusiastic and skilled professionals to join our growing technology team as a Software Testing Engineer / QA Engineer. This is a full-time, 100% remote position operating during USA business hours. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform manual, functional, and regression testing across software applications. • Handle test planning, test case design, and defect management. • Design, build, and maintain automation testing scripts. • Execute API testing and validate backend services. • Perform mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms. • Conduct performance testing and identify performance bottlenecks. • Perform database testing and validate data integrity using SQL queries. • Identify, document, and track software defects from discovery through resolution. • Collaborate with cross-functional distributed teams working in USA time zones. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Technical Skills & Technologies: - Manual, Functional & Regression Testing - Test Planning, Test Case Design & Defect Management - Automation Testing: Selenium, Playwright & Cypress - API Testing: Postman & REST Assured - Programming: Java, Python, JavaScript & TypeScript - Mobile Testing: Android & iOS - Performance Testing: JMeter & k6 - Database Testing: SQL, MySQL & PostgreSQL - Bug Tracking: Jira & Azure DevOps - Version Control: Git, GitHub & GitLab - CI/CD: Jenkins & GitHub Actions - Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure & Google Cloud - AI-Powered Testing & Generative AI Testing Tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC. • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Eagerness and interest in learning modern testing technologies.
