• Role & Company / Project Overview BMW TechWorks India is hiring for the role of Optics Engineer (Catia V5/V6) based in Pune. The candidate will work on exterior lighting systems, simulation, and validation activities. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform photometric simulations and evaluations for exterior front and rear lighting systems. - Analyze simulation and measurement results to optimize lighting performance and ensure regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support system requirements, traceability, and validation activities. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Education: Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Experience: 4 to 7 Years. - Must-Have Skills: 1. CATIA V5 / V6 2. Photometric Simulation Tools: Speos & LucidShape 3. Automotive E/E Systems & Control Units 4. ASPICE and System Requirements Knowledge 5. Requirements Management & Traceability - Good-to-Have Skills: 1. Experience in automotive exterior lighting development 2. Knowledge of vehicle development processes 3. Experience with CATIA/Prisma 4.
