Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Opportunity to join the Energy Technology & Power Generation industry as a Service Engineer – Gas Engines, working on gas-engine-based power generation systems and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) solutions in Pune, Maharashtra. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Installation, commissioning, and start-up of gas engines and generator systems. - Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown servicing. - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine control system faults. - Conduct engine inspections, overhauling, and component replacements. - Deliver field service support at customer sites and power plants. - Prepare comprehensive service reports and coordinate spare parts requirements. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. - Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or commissioning. - Hands-on experience with gas engines, generator sets, or power-generation equipment. - Strong troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills. - Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and engine control systems. - Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas. - Valid passport is mandatory. - Added Advantage: Experience with natural gas, biogas, CBG/biomethane, or other gaseous fuels; exposure to CHP/cogeneration systems and power plants; overseas service or commissioning experience. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. - Extensive domestic and international travel required for field service and commissioning. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can share their updated CV via DM or email.
