Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview On behalf of our client, a leading boiler and heater manufacturing organisation, Technomech Placements is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join their engineering team in Pune under a Fixed Term Contract (FTC). • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Prepare detailed design drawings, manufacturing drawings, plant layouts, schematics, and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM). - Apply in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, welding symbols, unit conversions, and dimensional tolerances to all drawings. - Effectively address and resolve technical queries originating from vendors, the workshop floor, and client sites. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Education: ITI / NCTVT / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or CAD Designing. - Experience: 12+ years of relevant industry experience. - Strong expertise in engineering drawings and geometry. - Proven hands-on experience in 2D drafting using CAD software (experience in 3D drafting is an added advantage). - Practical working knowledge of AutoLISP. - Familiarity and knowledge of boiler and heater systems is preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract (FTC). - Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates can submit their updated resumes mentioning the subject line 'Mechanical Draughtsman – Pune'.
