Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a Senior Security Architect with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture, GenAI/LLM security, architecture reviews, and corporate governance for a 6-month contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct enterprise security architecture design and comprehensive architecture reviews. • Design threat modeling and secure-by-design architectural frameworks. • Oversee and implement security across cloud environments, applications, data layers, and APIs. • Author and evaluate Architecture Decision Records (ADRs). • Establish and deploy AI security controls, guardrails, and prompt-injection defense mechanisms. • Guide security throughout the RAG, AI Agents, and LLM lifecycle. • Work directly with generative AI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar ecosystems. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 9+ years of dedicated experience in Security Architecture and Security Design. • Deep expertise in Enterprise Security Architecture and formal architecture reviews. • Demonstrated experience in GenAI / LLM / Agentic AI security. • Proven track record in threat modeling and secure-by-design architecture. • Comprehensive understanding of Cloud, Application, Data, and API Security. • Experience creating and managing ADRs (Architecture Decision Records). • Hands-on expertise with AI security controls, guardrails, and prompt-injection defense. • Strong familiarity with RAG, AI Agents, and full LLM lifecycle security. • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms. • Knowledge of NIST, TOGAF, or SABSA frameworks is preferred. • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or related credentials preferred. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with LangChain, Guardrails AI, and OpenAI GPT. • Familiarity with the NIST AI RMF, AI governance principles, and multi-agent frameworks. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid role; local candidates preferred). • Contract Duration: 6 Months.
