• Role & Company / Project Overview Client Direct engagement seeking a Senior GKE / Kubernetes Platform Engineer for a W2 position. The ideal candidate is a senior Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE with strong hands-on production experience building and operating Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Provision, manage, upgrade, and optimize GKE clusters - Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform - Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD and Helm - Secure clusters through IAM, RBAC, network policies, and policy enforcement • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience - Mandatory hands-on production experience with GCP & GKE - Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) & Kubernetes - Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) - Argo CD (GitOps) - Helm Charts - GCP IAM, Service Accounts & Workload Identity Federation - Istio Service Mesh & mTLS - Kubernetes Operators, CRDs & cert-manager - Network Policies, VPC & Firewall Configuration - Policy Enforcement (OPA Gatekeeper / Kyverno) - Cluster Autoscaling, Monitoring & Observability Nice-to-Have Skills: - GitHub Actions / CI/CD - Golang for operators and controllers - CKA / CKAD / CKS or Google Cloud certifications - SRE practices, incident response, and SLOs - Financial services or regulated-industry experience • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States - Engagement: Client Direct - Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C) - Interview Mode: Virtual • Application Instructions Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resumes for consideration.
