Role & Company / Project Overview Robert Gordon Australia is seeking an experienced, full-time Graphic & Design Specialist to join our collaborative creative team at our headquarters in Pakenham, Victoria. In this role, you will be essential in bringing our interiors and homeware designs to life, bridging the gap between initial product concepts and commercial market readiness. You will work closely with our core design team to ensure our renowned heritage brand is beautifully and consistently presented across print catalogues, packaging, and social media. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Print & Packaging Design: End-to-end design of our seasonal wholesale and interiors product catalogues, retail swing tags, and bespoke product packaging. • Brand & Visual Touchpoints: Maintain the premium, handcrafted aesthetic of the Robert Gordon brand across multi-channel assets including social media, EDMs, and retail and paint-your-own showroom signage. • Collaboration: Partner directly with the Head of Design, product developers, and marketing team to take collaborations from initial brief to final production. • Asset Production Management: Prepare flawless print-ready artwork, manage our expansive product photography assets, and maintain organized digital design libraries. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience: Solid proven commercial graphic design experience, ideally within a product-manufacturing, homewares, or consumer goods environment. • Software Skills: Proven experience with the Adobe Creative Suite. • Social Media: Experience with social media content creation is advantageous but not strictly necessary. • Design Philosophy: A genuine appreciation for ceramics, local craftsmanship, sustainable design, and the "handmade" aesthetic. • Photography & Styling: Basic studio photography, photo editing, and colour correction skills.
