Role & Company / Project Overview We are actively hiring Archaeological Field Technicians for various upcoming cultural resource management and archaeological projects located throughout Ohio. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Conduct archaeological field excavations, survey work, shovel testing, and site recording across various project sites in Ohio. - Assist with field documentation, artifact collection, stratigraphic recording, and data recovery according to project guidelines. - Maintain and handle field equipment responsibly. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Background or training in archaeology, anthropology, or related field survey work. - Ability to perform strenuous outdoor physical labor and field tasks across varying terrain and weather conditions. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Project locations: Various project sites throughout Ohio, United States. - Onsite fieldwork requirement. - Single occupancy hotel rooms provided for lodging during projects. Compensation & Benefits - Pay rate: $20 to $23 per hour. - Per diem: $50 to $68 per day (no receipts required). - Lodging: Provided single occupancy hotel rooms.
