### Role & Company / Project Overview The GAO Group is headquartered in NYC, USA, and Toronto, Canada, with member companies incorporated across the USA & Canada. The member companies are leading suppliers of advanced electronics and network products for engineers worldwide. We are looking for a highly skilled Virtual WordPress Web Developer/Designer to join our team for a 3 to 6-month internship. As a Virtual WordPress Web Designer at GAO Group of Companies, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere and collaborate with clients and team members across digital channels. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design and develop WordPress websites using themes such as Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery, or using a child theme. - Customize and modify WordPress themes and templates to align with brand identity and aesthetic preferences. - Create responsive web designs for optimal viewing across various devices and screen sizes. - Ensure website performance and optimization for speed and SEO. - Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to WordPress websites remotely. - Stay updated with the latest web design trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and the quality of our work. - Create and modify child themes as per requirements. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a WordPress Web Developer/Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. - Proficiency in WordPress CMS and popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg. - Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. - Knowledge of theme and plugin development. - Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and SEO best practices. - Excellent visual design skills and a keen eye for detail. - Effective communication skills for virtual meetings and collaboration. - Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet project deadlines. - A passion for staying updated with the latest web design trends and technologies. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Duration: 3–6 Months Internship - Location: Virtual / Remote (Work from anywhere) ### Compensation & Benefits - Gain real-world work experience at an internationally reputable high-tech company. - Learn real-world knowledge, work ethics, and team spirit. - Receive 3 certificates upon completion. - Flexible remote arrangement that enhances competitiveness in the global job market. ### Application Instructions Submit an English resume with the specified reference subject line to the designated application email address.
