• Role & Company / Project Overview Stellar HR Solutions is hiring a Steel Designer & Detailer based in Nairobi. The role involves developing accurate structural steel models, producing detailed fabrication documentation, and resolving clashes in close coordination with fabrication and site teams. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop accurate 3D models of structural steelwork and produce shop, assembly, and general arrangement (GA) drawings. - Prepare 2D plans, sections, elevations, and technical details for structural steel projects. - Generate bills of materials (BOM), bolt lists, cut lists, and CNC/DSTV files for fabrication. - Apply standard and project-specific steel connections and ensure strict compliance with relevant design codes and standards. - Review engineering drawings, resolve clashes, and support fabrication and site teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in structural steel detailing within a fabrication or engineering environment. - Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD for structural steel detailing, 3D modelling, and 2D drafting. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Nairobi, Kenya. - Full-time engineering/fabrication environment position. • Compensation & Benefits - Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 Net per month. • Application Instructions - Apply via the online portal link or email updated CV along with a relevant content portfolio using the specified subject line: STEEL DESIGNER & DETAILER – [Your Name].
