Role & Company / Project Overview: Diksha Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Tester (Automation Tester) to join the team and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the Athena Master Reference Data Platform. The position works on a critical data-centric platform ensuring master data remains the organisation's single source of truth. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and execute comprehensive automated testing strategies for data pipelines, ETL processes, integrations, and end-to-end workflows. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, PyTest, Great Expectations, Selenium, or Robot Framework. • Perform deep-dive SQL-based data validation, backend testing, transformation testing, and data quality checks. • Validate data consistency, accuracy, completeness, schemas, payloads, and contracts across upstream and downstream systems. • Build and maintain automated regression test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines. • Integrate automation frameworks with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms. • Validate API endpoints and downstream data consumption across integrated systems. • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers to define test coverage and Definition of Done. • Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects using Azure DevOps / Jira. • Perform positive, negative, edge-case, integration, and end-to-end testing. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 4–5 years of experience in QA Automation / Data Testing. • Strong hands-on Python + PyTest / Great Expectations experience. • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and backend testing. • Hands-on ETL / Data Pipeline testing experience. • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data, or Data Warehouse platforms. • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • API testing and integration testing expertise. • Strong understanding of data quality, transformation, and reconciliation. • Experience with Selenium / Robot Framework is an advantage. • Knowledge of Kafka / streaming data validation. • Exposure to OpenSearch / Elasticsearch for data querying and validation. • Experience with Reltio MDM is highly preferred.
