Role & Company / Project Overview A well-known stock broking and trading financial securities company situated in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai is looking for an experienced KYC Head to lead client onboarding, KYC compliance, and due diligence operations. The role reports to the Head of Operations / CEO. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Onboarding & Operations: Oversee end-to-end client onboarding for trading, demat, and derivatives accounts (e-KYC, DigiLocker, IPV, KRA, CKYC). • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SEBI norms, NSE/BSE/depository bye-laws, PMLA guidelines, and timely re-KYC refresh cycles. • Quality & Audit Controls: Implement maker-checker workflows, handle internal/exchange audits, and maintain audit-ready documentation. • Tech & Automation: Drive digital onboarding enhancements, API integrations, OCR adoption, and manage vendor SLAs. • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the verification and onboarding team to achieve lower TATs and high first-time-right ratios. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce, Law, or Management. • 8–12 years in KYC, onboarding, or broking operations at a stock broker, DP, or trading platform, with a minimum of 3 years leading a team. • Deep knowledge of SEBI regulations, PMLA, CKYC, KRA, and exchange guidelines. • NISM / AML / KYC certifications are a strong advantage.
