Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a skilled Service Technician / Team Lead to supervise inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fire Hydrant and Fire Protection Systems within the Fire Protection / Fire Safety industry in Mumbai. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead a team for inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire hydrant systems. - Conduct flow tests, pressure checks, and operational testing. - Handle hydrant, sprinkler, and drencher systems. - Perform preventive maintenance, flushing, cleaning, and lubrication. - Diagnose and repair components such as valves, gaskets, nozzles, stems, and NRVs. - Supervise Fire Door and Smoke Ventilation System maintenance. - Handle emergency breakdowns and on-site troubleshooting. - Maintain inspection records, reports, and corrective actions. - Coordinate with authorities when required. - Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and NFPA 25. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Diploma in Fire & Safety or equivalent technical qualification. - 1–2 years of experience in Fire Hydrant / Fire Protection System Maintenance. - Team handling or supervisory experience preferred. - Knowledge of Hydrant, Sprinkler & Drencher Systems. - Familiarity with NFPA 25 and local fire safety codes. - Basic plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting skills. - Ability to use flow meters and pressure gauges. - Good communication, reporting, and leadership skills. - Physically fit for field work. - NICET certification and experience in reading layouts/blueprints will be an added advantage. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. - Field-based role requiring physical fitness. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can submit their updated CV/profile to the hiring team via email or mobile.
