Role & Company / Project Overview I CAN INFOTECH SOLUTIONS is hiring a Senior PHP Laravel Backend Developer with expertise in AI coding tools and models. The engineer will enhance existing software products, build brand-new features, and leverage AI technologies to accelerate software development, with a key focus on healthcare software modules for the ICAN Careflow HMS product. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP (Laravel). • Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. • Develop and enhance healthcare software modules for the ICAN Careflow HMS product. • Use AI-powered coding tools and models such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor to improve coding productivity, debugging, refactoring, and code quality. • Integrate AI APIs and LLM-based capabilities into business applications where appropriate. • Optimize MySQL database performance, complex queries, and application architecture. • Implement secure authentication, role-based access control, and data protection. • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and product managers. • Take ownership of technical decisions, code quality, and production issue resolution. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 5 to 10 years of software development experience. • PHP (Laravel), OOP, MVC, and design patterns. • REST APIs and third-party API integrations. • MySQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization. • AI-assisted development using modern coding tools and AI models. • Git, debugging, testing, and secure coding practices. • Application performance optimization and scalable architecture. • Preferred skills: Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, or cloud deployment; experience with Redis, queues, background jobs, and scheduled tasks; knowledge of AI API integrations, LLMs, and prompt engineering; experience developing ERP, HMS, CRM, SaaS, or complex business applications; ability to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
