• Role & Company / Project Overview: Full-time, long-term Forklift Operator opportunity in a Mississauga manufacturing environment presented by People Store. The position involves a roughly 50/50 split between material handling equipment (MHE) driving and manual floor operations. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Operate Reach, Counterbalance, and Walkie material handling equipment - Assemble, sort, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment - Move raw materials and finished goods safely across the manufacturing facility - Perform routine quality checks and maintain proper QC documentation - Keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and aligned with company production targets - Perform manual floor tasks alongside MHE duties (approximate 50% MHE operation and 50% manual floor work split) • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Valid forklift licenses and recent hands-on experience operating Reach, Counterbalance, and Walkies - Willingness to perform both MHE driving and manual floor duties (~50/50 split) - Physical capability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly, and 50+ lbs occasionally (no heavy lifting premium provided) - Strong safety-first mindset, high attention to detail, dependability, and punctuality - Openness and flexibility to work overtime when required • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Start Date: ASAP - Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM - Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) • Compensation & Benefits: - Full-time, long-term employment opportunity • Application Instructions: - Email your resume to the designated recruiting contact with the specified subject line
