Role & Company / Project Overview: Inceptra Solutions is looking for an experienced System Test Engineer with strong expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), system-level testing, and automotive validation to work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • BMS system and software requirements analysis. • Test case development, test specifications preparation, and detailed test reports generation. • Functional testing of State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), State of Power (SoP), battery protection, and charging/discharging mechanisms. • ECU and system-level testing utilizing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments. • CAN / CAN FD communication validation and UDS diagnostics execution. • Fault injection, failure analysis, and thorough root-cause investigation. • Test automation implementation and end-to-end requirements traceability. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of professional experience in automotive system testing, validation, and Battery Management Systems. • Educational Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (Non-engineering backgrounds are not eligible). • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of BMS, HIL/SIL testing environments, CAN/CAN FD bus protocols, UDS diagnostics, fault injection techniques, and test automation.
