• Role & Company / Project Overview Staffing Origin is actively seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer (Req ID: 812275) to support a major cloud modernization initiative. This is a long-term contract role requiring local candidates only. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and production systems support. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design, build, and maintain robust Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. - Automate cloud deployments and end-to-end release management processes. - Implement secure secrets management practices and cloud governance standards. - Support Azure cloud infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting, and system reliability. - Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and comprehensive deployment automation strategies. - Collaborate closely with architects, developers, DBAs, and engineering teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Azure DevOps CI/CD expertise (YAML & Classic Pipelines). - Deep hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Function Apps, Containers & APIs. - Proven experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities & RBAC. - Hands-on SQL Deployment Automation experience using DACPAC and SQLCMD. - Experience with Azure Monitor, App Insights & Log Analytics. - Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates. - Strong scripting capabilities with PowerShell and/or Python. - Extensive Azure administration & engineering experience in production environments. - Preferred skills: AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) & Docker, Azure Policy & Governance Automation, PCI compliance experience, Cloud Cost Optimization & Governance, and Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400). - Eligibility: Local candidates only; must be authorized to work in the USA. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia, United States. - Work Mode: Remote (Local Candidates Only). - Interview Process: Video Only. - Job Type: Contract (Long Term). • Compensation & Benefits - Contract hourly/daily rate based on market standards and experience. • Application Instructions - Candidates may submit their applications online or forward details directly to the recruiter.
