Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Succexa is seeking a skilled and dedicated Linux System Administrator to join the team and assist in ensuring systems run smoothly and reliably. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage, maintain, and administer Linux/Unix server infrastructure. - Handle system performance, security, and high availability. - Implement and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational tasks. - Manage database administration tasks and support networking configurations. - Configure and monitor systems using monitoring and observability tools. - Support containerized workloads and CI/CD pipelines. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 3+ years hands-on experience in Linux/Unix Administration. - Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux. - Good understanding and knowledge of SQL & Databases (PostgreSQL / MongoDB a plus). - Experience with Networking: TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switches & Routers. - Knowledge of Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure (AWS preferred). - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes & CI/CD. - Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting & Automation. - Good understanding of Security & High Availability. - Knowledge of Monitoring & Observability tools. - Desirable certifications: AWS/GCP/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), ITIL Foundation. - Eligibility: Applicable to Mauritian candidates only. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Mauritius. • Application Instructions - Submit your CV directly for consideration as per company guidelines.
