### Role & Company / Project Overview A leading organization is hiring an Engineering Manager (Civil) for major residential compound projects, based in Maadi, Cairo. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Act as the main focal point of contact with external engineering consultation offices, architectural firms, and technical advisors. • Oversee the review and validation of all civil, structural, and infrastructure design documentation, BIM models, blueprints, and material specifications for the residential compound. • Ensure strict compliance of all engineering drawings and site execution plans with Egyptian national building codes, local regulations, and project budget constraints. • Monitor project milestones, construction schedules, and deliverables submitted by contractors and consultants to ensure on-time delivery. • Conduct regular site inspections and technical evaluations in our sites to verify construction progress and quality standards. • Resolve on-site engineering challenges, structural discrepancies, and design modifications in direct coordination with the consulting firm. • Review and approve value-engineering proposals, scope changes, and technical variations submitted during project lifecycle execution. • Collaborate with the Procurement, Cost Control, and Operations teams to evaluate contractor bids, technical tenders, and material submittals. • Provide executive leadership with regular progress reports, risk assessment matrices, and strategic engineering updates. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. • 15 to 20 years of experience in civil engineering and structural project management, with a proven track record in major residential compounds or large-scale land development projects. • Proven track record of working within Engineering Consultation Offices or Real Estate Development is a must. • Demonstrated experience directly managing relations, BIM coordination, and technical reviews with premier engineering consulting offices. • Strong knowledge of building codes, structural engineering practices, and site management in Egypt. • Excellent strategic leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional reporting, written, and verbal communication abilities. • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt. • Work Type: Onsite project management and office-based coordination. ### Compensation & Benefits • Compensation details not specified. ### Application Instructions • Please submit your updated C.V. via email and mention "Engineering Manager" in the subject line.
