• Role & Company / Project Overview: Bayport Financial Services is hiring an Intern for the Credit & Quality Assurance Department in Lusaka. Reporting to the Designated Supervisor, the Quality Controller intern will be responsible for Quality Control 1 (QC1) validation checks of loan application documentation received from the Front Office stage. This entry-level opportunity allows a motivated individual to kick-start a career in finance and gain hands-on experience in financial services. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Validation and authentication of customer's loan application documentation provided by Front Office staff. - Conduct checks for completeness and correctness of submitted loan application documentation. - Timely (and quality assured) submission of validated loan application documentation to the next loan application process stage. - Timely communication of relevant corrective action recommendations related to invalidated loan application documentation. - Ensure all relevant departmental/operational reports are consolidated and circulated on a timely basis. - Perform sensitivity analysis, when required, to give input from a credit standpoint. - Escalate suspicious or fraudulent activity / actual frauds in accordance with the company's Fraud Prevention Procedures. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Grade 12 with five (5) O Levels including Mathematics and English. - Must be a Degree Holder (preferably in Business Administration, Banking, any business-related field, or Social Sciences) as required for an entry-level position. - Good numerical, analytical, and accounting skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work well under minimum supervision. - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Lusaka, Zambia. - On-site financial services environment. • Compensation & Benefits: - Internship training and career development in finance. • Application Instructions: - Send application, current CV, professional/academic certificates, and completed Internal Employment Application Form to the employer's HR email by the closing date of Thursday, 22 October 2026.
