• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are urgently hiring a Director of Engineering for a fast-growing AI infrastructure company helping enterprises deploy AI systems that are reliable, secure, observable, scalable, and production-ready. In this role, you will lead the engineering organization through a major growth phase, scaling the team from approximately 25 engineers toward 100+ while building strong engineering leadership, processes, and technical culture. You will work directly with the founders and have significant ownership over engineering strategy, hiring, organizational structure, and execution. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Scale the engineering organization through rapid growth - Build and develop engineering leaders and management teams - Establish engineering planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance processes - Lead across AI Engineering and Deployment Engineering - Partner with founders on organizational strategy and headcount planning - Represent engineering with customers, partners, and the technical community • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Proven experience scaling an engineering organization from ~25 to 100+ people - Strong experience hiring, structuring, and developing engineering leadership - Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams - Strong technical understanding across AI/ML and production/deployment infrastructure - Experience in a fast-growing company at post-Series B stage - Excellent public-facing and executive communication skills - Top-tier university education or equivalent professional track record - Nice to have: Experience at a Series D/E company such as Harvey, Cognition, Decagon, or Legora - Nice to have: Experience building teams across AI research, applied ML, and production engineering - Nice to have: Experience as an early/founding engineering leader who later scaled a larger organization • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: London, UK - Work Model: Onsite — 4 days/week - Visa Support: H-1B, O-1, OPT available • Compensation & Benefits: - Base Salary: $385,000 – $550,000 per year - OTE: $750,000 – $800,000 - Equity: Competitive • Application Instructions: Interested candidates can submit their updated CV or reach out via direct message.
